The first recorded Christmas in Hawaii was in 1786, when the captain of merchant ship the Queen Charlotte, George Dixon, was docked aboard his ship on the Hawaiian island of Kauai and commanded his crew to prepare him a large Christmas dinner which included a whole roast pig. Dixon and his men then made a toast to their families back in England.

This classic table runner is made up of a gorgeous blending of prints and colors. The star pattern on the right is made from a mixed Christmas candy print. The star pattern on the left is a printed Christmas red with a multicolored striped center.
The sashing used to frame each star pattern squares is a Christmas green sprinkled with a golden stars and moon design. The backing is a Christmas Holly print on a ecru colored background. The stars are outlined quilted. The remainder of the table runner is done in a stippling quilted method. I recommend that you gently hand wash the table runner only if needed, in cold water with a mild soap and air-dry.

This beautiful Christmas tree wall hanging is sure to bring a touch of the holidays to your home.
The wall hanging itself is made up of a gorgeous blending of patterns and colors. The Christmas Tree which is the main focus of this piece, is layered with prairie points in a Christmas Green that has splashes of colors (spots of baby blue, pink, red, dark green, and yellow green). The trunk base of the tree is a combination of different shades of brown. The tree itself is surrounded with a gold and ecru background and is topped with a dazzling wooden gold star.
The sashing used to frame the wall hanging is in a paisley-like design blended with rust, gold, and dark green colors. The backing is made up of a marbling of shades of green.
The entire wall hanging is machine quilted in a grid design. I recommend that you gently hand wash the wall hanging only if needed, in cold water with a mild soap and air-dry.
